Palmetto Tennis Center

The Palmetto Tennis Center is located in Palmetto Park. Centrally located in Sumter this facility is a state of the art tennis facility.

The Palmetto Tennis Center is one of the largest facilities in South Carolina and host to the USTA, SCISA, local and CVAC tournamnets.

Play Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm and from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sundays. Tennis is fun for all ages so for more information or tennis lessons contact Palmetto Tennis Center by emailing us or call 803-774-3969.

Palmetto Tiny Tots

This Tiny Tot Clinic is for ages 3 to 5 and is designed to provide an introduction to tennis. Instructors will use tennis related games and fun activities to teach basic strokes, scoring, and rules. The clinic’s focus is to get small children involved in tennis.

Palmetto Swans

The Swan Clinic is for ages 6 to 9 and is designed to accommodate both beginner and intermediate level players. Players will learn the basic mechanics needed to execute the forehand, backhand, volley, serve and overhead.  The course incorporates tennis related games and activities.

Palmetto Stars

The Stars Clinic is for ages 10 to 14 and is designed to help players improve their basic tennis skills. Players will continue to improve their strokes and begin point construction.

Congratulations to Stephanie Medley for being a finalist in the Carolinas OB-GYN Jr. Championships!  Also congrats to Rachel Sillman, Lindsey Lyles, and Nate Lyles for winning their divisions in the Wachovia Greater Florence Tennis Championships!
