The average time to process a residential building permit is 3-5 working days.  This time includes the necessary zoning check and contractor’s licensing check.

Inspections are done on a first called first served basis. Usual inspection backlog for residential inspection is 2-3 days meaning that if you were to call for an inspection on Monday morning normally the inspection would be conducted sometime Wednesday.  To find out what time the inspection has been scheduled the requestor must call the morning of the inspection and get the time reserved for the inspection.
