City of Sumter Aquatics Center

The City of Sumter Aquatics Center is located adjacent to the South Hope Center at 1125 Lafayette Blvd. Sumter, South Carolina. This center meets requirements for competition swim meets and equipped with swim lanes, slide, and wade-pool entrance with fountain.

Ages 13 years and up must have picture I.D. or be accompanied by an Adult.
All Swimmers must have swim suit to swim.

**Children 12 years of age and Under MUST be accompanied by an Adult at all times.**

LEARN TO SWIM
“Learn to Swim Classes” Tuesday through Friday afternoons or now on Saturday mornings!

SWIM CAMPS!
Swim Camp is August 4th - August 8th for Session I, and August 11th - August 15th for Session II. It will be from 9am-1pm and is for ages 6 to 12. This swim camp is full of fun from swim lessons, games, fun and safety classes and guest speakers to a camp T-shirt!  Attend the City of Sumter Aquatics Center Swim Camp for one week or for all three weeks. Bring a sack lunch, bathing suit and towel along with sneakers.

CERTIFIED LIFE GUARD TRAINING
Classes held during the summer
Ages 16 and older
Cost for Certification: $90.00 - call for class dates and times

GUARD START
Lifeguarding tomorrow class for individuals ages 11-14 years
Cost is $35 per person - call for class dates and times

WATER EXERCISE CLASSES
Tuesday - Friday
6pm to 7pm
Entrance fee only

TAI CHI CLASS
Saturday 9am to 10am
Cost is $18 for 6 weeks, or $4 per class.
Entrance fee only.
