City of Sumter Aquatics Center
The City of Sumter Aquatics Center is located adjacent to the South Hope Center  at 1125 Lafayette Blvd. Sumter, South Carolina. This center meets requirements for competition swim meets and equipped with swim lanes, slide, and wade-pool entrance with fountain.

LEARN TO SWIM
“Learn to Swim Classes” Tuesday through Friday afternoons from 5:30-6:15pm or on Saturday mornings from 10:00-10:45am! Cost is $20 per week or two weeks for $30. Saturday classes $5 per class. Learn to Swim is for ages 3 through adult. Sign up early as classes fill up quickly.
COMMUNITY SWIM
Have you always wanted to learn to swim? Well Community Swim is just for you! We will offer three sessions of FREE "Learn to Swim" classes for ages six through adult Tuesday through Friday beginning May 12th, 2009 and ending May 26th, 2009. Class times are 4:00-4:45pm and 5:00-5:45pm. Beginner swimmers only.
SWIM CAMPS!
Swim Camp will be August 3rd-August 7th, and August 10th-August 14th! It will be from 9am-1pm and is for ages 6 to 12. This swim camp is full of fun from swim lessons, games, fun and safety classes and guest speakers to a camp T-shirt! Attend the City of Sumter Aquatics Center Swim Camp for one week or for both weeks. Bring a sack lunch, bathing suit and towel along with sneakers. $30 per week or $50 for two weeks.
CERTIFIED LIFE GUARD TRAINING
Classes will begin April 14th, 2009!

Cost for Certification: $90.00 - call for class dates and times
GUARD START
Lifeguarding tomorrow class for individuals ages 11-14 years
Cost is $35 per person - call for class dates and times
